Angela Becker-Dippmann, Executive Vice President.

Angela joined McBee Strategic in October 2008. Angela brings nearly 8 years of U.S. Senate experience to the firm, serving most recently as a Professional Staff Member for the Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee, under Chairman Jeff Bingaman. During the 110th Congress, Angela's portfolio at the Committee included work on the Energy Independence & Security Act 0f 2007; as well as a number of legislative and oversight initiatives on topics ranging from commodity market regulation, to energy technology financing and federal oil and gas royalty collection. Previously, Angela served on the staff of Senator Maria Cantwell, in a number of roles including Communications and Policy Director. During her tenure there, she managed the Senator's energy policy priorities during consideration of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, including electricity and natural gas market regulation, biofuels diversity, efficiency research and development, smart grid technology and workforce training. Before coming to Capitol Hill, Angela held a number of editorial positions at Energy NewsData Corporation in Seattle, Washington--an independent publisher of energy policy journals with specific emphasis on Western electricity and natural gas markets. Angela is a native of Wisconsin, and magna cum laude graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota.
