Glynda Becker, Executive Vice President.
Glynda joined McBee Strategic in February 2006. Her areas of expertise include energy, environment, natural resources and legislative and political strategy. Prior to joining McBee Strategic, Glynda served as Associate Political Director in the White House Office of Political Affairs for 2 ½ years. While at the White House she served as the liaison and advisor to the President's Senior Advisor and Political Director on important policy and political issues in eleven western states and served as the project officer where she was responsible for coordinating all Presidential travel throughout the western region. Prior to joining the White House, Glynda served in the Bush Administration at the Department of Commerce where she advised Secretary Don Evans on energy and environmental issues in the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs. She served in the same capacity for Energy Secretary Samuel W. Bodman who was then Deputy Secretary of Commerce. Prior to joining the Bush Administration, Glynda spent more than seven years on Capitol Hill including as the Legislative Director for Congressman Mark R. Kennedy from Minnesota and on the legislative staffs of former Congressmen George Nethercutt and Rick White from Washington and in the Washington State House of Representatives in Olympia, WA. Since 1990, Glynda has worked on and managed several key political campaigns at the state and federal level. Becker is a native of Washington State and earned a B.S. from Santa Clara University.
