Rob Chamberlin joined McBee Strategic in October 2004. Rob brings over six years of bicameral Capitol Hill experience to the firm. Rob most recently worked as Chief Counsel on the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee under Chairman John McCain where he was responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the committee and its staff. His areas of expertise include aviation, transportation, and telecommunications matters. In his tenure with the Senate, he worked closely with the Department of Transportation, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, the Commerce Department and the White House. Prior to his stint in the Senate, Rob served as Assistant Counsel on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure where he focused solely on aviation issues assisting in the drafting and passing of all major aviation matters, preparing for hearings and briefing the Chairman of the full and subcommittee on aviation issues. Rob also served as an attorney for the Airports and Environmental Law Division at the Federal Aviation Administration. Rob began his career as an environmental attorney at the law firm of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C.
