Andy Davis, Vice President.

Andy Davis joined McBee Strategic in June 2008.  With a decade of experience on Capitol Hill along with a Masters in Business Administration, Andy offers insightful connections between business strategy, public policy, and communications.  He served as the Senior Communications Advisor to the U.S. Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee Minority under Senator Daniel Inouye and also served as the Communications Director for Senator Ernest “Fritz” Hollings where he helped manage the communications around high-profile issues such as the post-9/11 transportation security laws and the Enron investigation.  Andy also spent nearly 3 years with the Senate Democratic Leadership’s Communications Committee as its Deputy Director.  In 2004, Andy served as the Communications Director in Senator John Kerry’s Senate office during his run for the presidency.  Andy completed his MBA in 2008 at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where he focused on the social and environmental stewardship of business.  A Colorado native, Andy holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Affairs and Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  He and his wife, Sue Bell, live in Arlington.
