Rob Hobart,
Executive Vice President & Transactions Director.

Rob Hobart joined McBee Strategic in 2006. Rob brings over ten years of legislative and appropriations experience to the firm. During his career on Capitol Hill, he worked for three different members of Congress managing legislative staffs for over eight years. His areas of expertise include homeland security, energy, the nuclear weapons complex, defense, transportation, water infrastructure, and science and technology. He most recently worked as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Appropriations Associate for Congressman Zach Wamp (R-TN). For Congressman Wamp, Rob handled the Congressman's Appropriations Committee work on the Energy and Water, Homeland Security, Transportation, Interior and Commerce-Justice-State-Judiciary Subcommittees. Prior to working for Congressman Wamp, Rob served as Legislative Director for former Congressman Rick Hill (R-MT) and an Appropriations Aide for former Congresswoman Barbara Vucanovich (R-NV), who was a House Appropriations Chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Military Construction. Prior to his career with the House of Representatives, he conducted research for the American Academy of Dermatology tracking state and federal health policy for the trade association. Rob received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Political Science.
