Jill joined McBee Strategic in January 2006. Jill brings seven years of bipartisan Senate experience to the firm, serving the last five years as a Professional Staff Member on the Senate Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee for Commerce, Justice, and Science under Chairman Ernest F. Hollings, Chairman Judd Gregg, and most recently Chairman Richard C. Shelby. Before working as Committee staff, Jill worked as a Legislative Assistant for Senator Barbara A. Mikulski. While on Capitol Hill, Jill focused on a variety of issues including homeland security, law enforcement, information technology, trade, telecommunications, energy and transportation. Jill started her career as an associate with Verner, Liipfert, Bernhardt, McPherson and Hand, Chtd. (now DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary). Jill has a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
