Shannon O'Keefe, Vice President.

Shannon joined McBee Strategic in August 2009. Shannon brings over 6 years of federal government experience to the firm. Prior to joining McBee Strategic, Shannon served as Deputy Associate Director for Legislative Affairs for the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) where she was responsible for defense, homeland security, energy, environment, transportation, commerce, and international affairs issues. She also worked as the principal liaison for regulatory and information technology matters. Prior to joining OMB, Shannon served as a Professional Staff Member on the Senate Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee for Homeland Security and Subcommittee for Commerce, Justice and Science under Chairman Judd Gregg. She also served as a Professional Staff Member on the Senate Budget Committee for Chairman Judd Gregg’s first budget resolution. Shannon has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University.
