Meghan McCarthy joined McBee Strategic in November 2012. Meghan brings five years of Washington journalism experience covering Capitol Hill and the Executive Branch to the firm. She has written for online and print platforms at media organizations including Congressional Quarterly and National Journal and has appeared on radio and television including National Public Radio and C-SPAN. Meghan focuses on health care issues, including Medicare and Medicaid policy and the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. She has recently covered the passage and early implementation of the Affordable Care Act, the Supreme Court case on the constitutionality of the legislation, and the 2011 super committee budget negotiations. Meghan is a native of South Brunswick, N.J., and has a Bachelor of Arts from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.
